
Welcome to Wattsville Water Authority

Wattsville Water Authority was established in 1968 to provide drinking water to the Wattsville and Old Coal City area in St. Clair County. The organizing meeting was held in the Wattsville Elementary School and presided over by Mr. Robert Payne with Mrs. Betty Crump as Secretary.
In 1992, the Authority was re-organized and increased the number of Board members from three to five members.
Board members are appointed by the St. Clair County Commission and serve six year terms.
Board Meetings are held on the forth Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. Everyone welcome to attend all board meetings. To be placed on agenda, please visit or call our office at (205) 338-3725 to obtain Agenda Request Form. All forms are due by noon one week prior to monthly meeting.
February 24th Meeting will be held in office at 3:30 p.m. Normal meeting time of 4:30 p.m. will resume in March.
